Details of Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) Amul
Anand Milk Union Limited commonly known as Amul is an Indian dairy brand owned by the cooperative society, Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), based in Anand, Gujarat. GCMMF is controlled by 3.6 million milk producers.
Tribhuvandas Kishibhai Patel founded the organization in 1946 and served as its chairman until his retirement in the 1970s. He hired Verghese Kurien in 1949, initially as the general manager, where Kurien guided the technical and marketing efforts of the cooperative. Kurien briefly became the chairman of Amul following Patel’s death in 1994, and is credited with the success of Amul’s marketing.

Job Description For Accounts Assistant (Pune)
The Candidates should have working knowledge of Financial accounting, commercial norms and good knowledge of computers (Knowledge of SAP will be preferred). The responsibilities include preparation of Accounting documents such as Invoices, billing, Accounts payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchases, Bank reconciliations, verification of payments, MIS, Maintenance of records in SAP FICO and other Commercial, etc… The major responsibilities include:
- Monitoring of stock return from MFS to godown recorded and accounted in SAP.
- Monitoring of monthly reconciliation of Branch MFS (Pune, Pune-II and Pune-FPO)
- Monitoring of settlement of any credit / debit note to respective MFS
- Follow-up with concern MFS for variation in invoice vs payment
- Clearance of documents in SAP.
- Tracking of GRN/POD updation for each MFS and coordinate with Branch for missing PODs.
- Monthly MIS of stock return with reason – location / MFS wise
- Accounting entry of Amul Shop. In transactions.
- Any other works as given by BCAI / ZCAM
Job Description For Accounts Assistant (Delhi, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, Rohtak)
The person will be responsible for Branch Accounting functions. The major responsibilities include:
- Ensuring maintenance of Books of accounts including finance management and Assets Accounting
- Ensuring implementation of standard procedures relating to the arrival of stock
- Maintenance of stock
- Physical verification of stock and Reconciliation with Book Stock
- Invoicing
- Reconciliation of Vendor/Supplier Ledger
- Reconciliation of Inter-Office Balance
- Bank Reconciliation
- Payment Processing
